Who we are. This website is operated by Chanda's House ("Chanda's House," "we," "us"), a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. You can reach us at info@chandashouse.org.

What we collect. We collect only what you choose to give us or what your browser shares automatically:

Contact and inquiry forms: your name, email address, and the message you write.
Volunteer application: the details you enter on the form, such as your name and contact information. This form is received through Wix.
Adult Caregiver Summit forms (attendee, exhibitor, sponsorship): the details you enter on the form. These are submitted through Givebutter, which handles them under its own privacy policy.
Newsletter signup: your email address, handled through GoHighLevel.
Donations: donations are processed by Givebutter. We do not collect or store your card or bank details on this site. Givebutter shares donor details such as name, email, and gift amount with us. Givebutter's own privacy policy governs how it handles your information.
Automatic information: like most websites, this site and its hosting provider (Wix) may record technical data such as your IP address, browser type, device, and pages visited. We use Google Analytics to understand how the site is used, which sets cookies.

How we use it.

We use your information to respond to your messages, process volunteer and event applications, send updates you asked for, receive and acknowledge donations, run our programs and events, keep the site working, and understand how the site is used. If you have donated or contacted us, we may also use your name and contact details to send fundraising appeals and updates. You can opt out at any time by writing to info@chandashouse.org or using the unsubscribe link in our emails.

Who we share it with.

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with service providers who help us operate: Wix (website hosting), Givebutter (donations and event forms), GoHighLevel (forms, newsletter, and communications), and Google (Google Analytics). We also share it when the law requires it.

Health information.

Chanda's House's work involves end-of-life and caregiver support. Please do not put medical details or information about a patient in general website forms. If health information is shared with us for program services, we handle it using HIPAA-compliant tools.

Cookies. Cookies help the site work and let us measure traffic through Google Analytics. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, or use Google's opt-out tools; some features may not work if you do.

How long we keep it. We keep information for one year, except records we are required by law to keep longer, such as donation and tax records.

Your choices. You can ask us to see, correct, or delete the personal information you gave us, or to stop sending you emails, by writing to info@chandashouse.org. Every email we send includes an unsubscribe link.

Children. This site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.

Links to other sites. This site links to outside sites, including Givebutter and social media pages. We are not responsible for their privacy practices.

Changes. We may update this policy and will post the new version here with a new effective date.
